EMPORIO SANTA MARIA

Located in the city of São Paulo, the Empório Santa Maria is a reference to good gastronomy. A unique place that gathers a wide range of special and multicultural products, as well as a restaurant, bakery, rotisserie, and pastry with fresh products made in-house.

A design challenge faced was to adapt an irregular shaped space into a functional one, capable of host a complex and sophisticated emporium.

The solutions and materials selected for the project, and the extensive use of the brand’s brown color, created the contemporary and elegant atmosphere intended, reflecting the emporium’s philosophy, and captivating the target customer.

The project mission was to give life to the second store of this traditional emporium. The new branch should reflect the refinement of the 30-year-old original one, with the challenge to innovate aesthetically and adapt the brand’s concept to the interior space of a mall, with access both through the parking lot and through the mall’s commercial gallery.

A unique place that brings together, with harmony and satisfaction, a wide range of special imported products, as well as a bakery, rotisserie and confectionery with fresh products made in-house.
